Twitter Space has revealed how some sympathizers of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party( LP) pledged to arm themselves with weapons ahead of a political rally.

Meanwhile, some sympathizers of the party were attacked by suspected political goons in Lagos on Saturday.
Vids and Pics  on social media show some individualities believed to be Obi’s sympathizers with bruises, as well as vandalised cars and buses reportedly stationed to transport sympathizers for the colorful events to be held by the party.

Reacting to  the attack, Lagos police command’s spokemant, Benjamin Hundeyin said four persons were injured.




Speaking during a Twitter space, some members of the party noted that they demanded to arm themselves before the rally. The twitter Space was named#ObiDattiInLagos Attacks.

Speaking in pidgin, one of the sympathizers said,

 “ Na that day them go know say men dey That rally wey dey come. See, you're your own security outfit. You carry your own effects, your tools( It's that day they will know that we've men the forthcoming rally. You're your own security outfit. When going around, carry your own gun. Carry your own munitions). ”

He was still intruded by another supporter who said, “ Abeg, I go advise make we keep our strategies on a law. ”

One of the LP sympathizers said,

 “ Machines( Weapons) dey, we no go  spend cash for groundnut( bullets) at all, E full for ground. It yapa far and wide, we no go spend. Men dey. Let’s constitute ad hoc security commission moment( We've machine ordnance, we wo n’t indeed spend plutocrat on pellets, they're further than sufficient. We wo n’t spend plutocrat. We've men. Let us constitute an ad hoc security platoon moment). ”
